Lease Your Arizona Land for Hunting

Arizona's big-game tags come through a draw and much of the state is public land, so private ground earns its keep differently here: water, field edges and ranch country that hold game, and hunts that do not depend on drawing a tag.

You set the price, the dates and the rules. We list your land, take the bookings and handle the money.

Hunting in Arizona

What hunters look for in Arizona

Dove and quail are the clearest case. The seasons are generous, no draw is needed, and a field or ranch with water and cover concentrates birds. Desert ranches also draw hunters after Coues whitetail and javelina, and over-the-counter archery deer hunters want reliable, low-pressure ground to come back to.

Elk and the premium deer hunts still turn on drawing a tag, and private land next to good country gives a hunter who draws a place to hunt it. The Kaibab Plateau is known for trophy mule deer, the White Mountains and the Mogollon Rim for elk, and the southeastern deserts and grasslands for Coues deer, javelina and quail.

When hunters want to be on your land

Dove season traditionally opens in early September, and quail follows in the fall. General and archery deer run in the fall and again in winter in desert units, while elk, pronghorn and the premium deer hunts are draw-only, with applications due months ahead.

Seasons, licenses and regulations are set by the state and change every year; treat this as background, not official information. Some states also have rules for landowners who lease hunting rights.

Landowner questions

Leasing your Arizona land, answered

Who would be hunting my land in Arizona?
A HuntingLeaseUSA member with a paid membership, booking under their own name, not an anonymous reply to a classified ad. In Arizona, the hunters who lease private land are mainly dove, quail and deer hunters. On a season lease, one party holds the ground for the season, bound by your rules.
How do I get paid for a hunting lease in Arizona?
The hunter pays us when they book, so you never chase anyone for money. We keep our fee and pay your share to your bank account on our regular payout run after the month the access period starts. There is no fee to be listed.
What about liability when hunters are on my Arizona land?
The hunter who books signs the Access Agreement, with your rules in it, and the Liability Waiver at checkout, before they pay. Check with your own insurer or attorney about what applies to a landowner who leases hunting rights in Arizona.
